Introduction
Yemen, a country with a rich cultural heritage and a strategic location in the Arabian Peninsula, has been devastated by conflict and humanitarian crises. The ongoing conflict has created one of the world’s most severe humanitarian emergencies, with children bearing the brunt of the suffering. At Feed a Needy, we are dedicated to addressing the urgent needs of Yemeni children and working towards a future where every child can achieve their full potential.
The Current Situation
Yemen’s children are facing unprecedented challenges. The conflict has led to widespread displacement, destruction of infrastructure, and severe shortages of food, water, and medical supplies. According to UNICEF, over 11 million children in Yemen are in need of humanitarian assistance. Malnutrition rates are alarmingly high, and many children lack access to basic education and healthcare services.
Our Vision
Feed a Needy envisions a future where every child in Yemen has access to the essential resources and support needed to survive and thrive. Our goal is to address immediate needs while working towards sustainable solutions that will foster long-term development and stability. Our approach focuses on four critical areas:

- Addressing Acute Malnutrition and Food Insecurity
- Emergency Food Aid: Deliver essential food supplies and nutritional assistance to children and families in crisis-affected areas to address immediate needs and prevent malnutrition.
- Nutrition Programs: Implement programs that provide therapeutic feeding, nutrition education, and support for local food production to enhance food security and combat malnutrition.
- Partnerships: Collaborate with international organizations and local partners to improve food distribution systems and ensure that aid reaches those most in need.
- Improving Access to Education
- School Reconstruction: Support the rebuilding and rehabilitation of schools that have been damaged or destroyed by the conflict, creating safe learning environments for children.
- Educational Resources: Provide school supplies, textbooks, and digital learning tools to facilitate education and help children continue their studies.
- Teacher Support: Invest in training and resources for teachers to improve the quality of education and address the specific needs of children affected by conflict.
- Enhancing Healthcare Services
- Healthcare Access: Support the establishment of health clinics and mobile health units to provide medical care to underserved communities, including vaccinations and treatment for common illnesses.
- Health Education: Promote health and hygiene education to prevent disease outbreaks and improve overall health among children and their families.
- Mental Health Support: Offer psychological support and counseling services to help children cope with trauma and stress resulting from the conflict.
- Supporting Community and Family Resilience
- Family Assistance: Provide support programs to help families rebuild their lives and improve their economic stability through livelihood programs and vocational training.
- Community Engagement: Work closely with local communities to understand their needs and ensure that our programs are effective and culturally appropriate.
- Advocacy: Advocate for international support and policy changes that address the root causes of the crisis and promote the rights and well-being of children in Yemen.

Our Commitment
Feed a Needy is committed to transparency, effectiveness, and collaboration in all our efforts. We pledge to:
- Maintain Transparency: Provide regular updates and reports to our supporters on our activities, finances, and the impact of our programs.
